ALL ABOUT Emma

Emma is the co-host of a successful radio show with Roz Purcell every Saturday and Sunday from 12-3 pm on RTE 2FM. They are currently presenting 2FM Drive with Graham Symth. She is also the go-to movie person on 2FM, regularly interviewing Hollywood stars and appearing on red carpets. Anne Hathaway, Samuel L Jackson, Ryan Gosling, Paul Mescal, Jim Carey, Lady Gaga, Keanue Reevs, Brian Cox and Cillian Murphy are just some of the movie stars Emma has interviewed.

Emma started her radio career with East Coast FM at 19, while studying Radio Broadcasting at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design & Technology. She later received a first-class honours degree in Multimedia Journalism. She presented on East Coast FM, Dublin City FM, RTÉ Junior Radio, and RTÉ Pulse before joining 2FM. She also spent some time with Spin 1038, working as a Spini on their promotional team.

With a passion for music, Emma enjoys working as a DJ. She has worked with brands such as Gordon’s Gin, Charlotte Tilbury, Lindt, Three, Boots, Orchard Thieves and more, DJing at some of Ireland’s biggest festivals Longitude, Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit and Dublin’s New Year’s Eve Festival.

Emma has presented several TV shows including the Junk Kouture Grand Final in 2020 and 2021 and the Rás na mBan Highlights Show in 2019. She joined The Today Show as a news panellist last year and appeared on the hit travel Show High Road Low Road on RTÉ 1.

She is no stranger to the podcast world and has had two successful podcasts, Unlocked and My First Ride, both of which she hosted with her good friend and colleague Laura Fox.
